Cradle Mountain
Caroline & I visited Cradle Mountain after an enjoyable drive from Deloraine. I had visited there as a teenager, hiking the famous Overland Trail, but the beginning of the trip was so damp that I didn't get to actually see the mountain. This time there weather more than made up for this as the many photos below attest. We also got to see lots of animals including wombats
and pademelons. This guy got really came right up to use so that we thought he was interested in us. But when he reached us, he just turned around and scratched his butt on the boardwalk. It was the boardwalk that he was interested in, and we were just at the closest point on the boardwalk to him so that we could get the best view of him!
